Date of Passing: Aug 01, 2023
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEFFREY MARC PUBBEN
After a great day of fishing, Jeff peacefully passed away on August 1, 2023.
He will be fondly remembered and forever missed by his sister Sandi and her family (Earl, Brittany, Lauren) of Winnipeg; his brother Dwayne and his family (Cindy, Tricia, Spencer) of Victoria, BC; and by his many friends. Jeff was predeceased by his father Sam and mother Pearl.
Jeff was a man of simple pleasures, cruising his Nova, car shows, fishing, Jets games and having beers with his buddies. He enjoyed years at the speedway and other racing tracks helping his friends with their cars and even dabbled with some announcing. Jeff was known to be an independent thinker and his often outrageous sense of humour will surely be missed.
A Celebration of Life gathering is scheduled at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, September 28 at the Pony Coral on Grant Avenue.

Jeffy was one buddy who was passionate of dirt track racing and Sunday night cruise nights. He was often coming to the races with me in Winnipeg and Morden where he was also a track announcer. We would also head down to the Outlaw shows in Grand Forks. I was in a bind to find a co-driver when I flew down to Toronto and Jeff was Johnny on the spot to join me and help in the ride back. He will be missed and lots of good memories over the 25 years i was lucky enough to be friends with him. - Posted by: Derek Pollock (Racing Bufdy) on: Oct 08, 2023

I’ve known Jeff since I was about 18 Years old. We hit it off right away as we had many hobbies and interests in common. He liked cars I like cars he likes snowmobiles. I drove snowmobiles, he like girls. Well,,, we all like girls.😁😁😁. I’ll share something that happened and Jeff got into an accident years passed on his three wheeler he broke his leg. Actually I think he broke both legs because we used to pick him up from his house because he couldn’t walk anywhere and we would bring him over to my house so we could watch the Jets game and we would just carry him in and we all know he like to have a couple wobbly bumps so we had to make a few trips to the washroom also during those long three months lol. I’ll miss you buddy you know you and I had a special bond for a long time. I would really like someone to reach out to me so I can understand what happened to my really really good friend. You’re a good soul. See ya on the other Side Fry!!!!!!!! - Posted by: Terry Hannigan (Good Friend) on: Oct 05, 2023

I have such fond memories of Jeff when I taught him in grade 5. And then I got to know him at Bird River when his mom and dad bought their cottage next door. I am so saddened to hear the news of his passing. Please know that his memory will live on (as it always has) ....in my heart. He was a great guy! My thoughts and prayers are with you, his family and friends, - Posted by: Valerie Bergeron (former teacher) on: Sep 25, 2023
