Surrounded by family, Margaret Murovec passed away on September 18, 2023 after a long battle with cancer.
Margaret was born on June 26, 1958 at St. Boniface Hospital to Stan and Sophie Murovec. As the oldest child she often was responsible for her brothers Dennis and Robert.
In 1989 Margaret married Victor Kolynchuk. They were best pals and loved travelling together. In 1990 they travelled extensively in Slovenia visiting Margaret’s grandmother and relatives.
Margaret was a proud mother to her children Mark and Allison and was devoted to their education and growth as a stay-at-home mother.
Margaret is survived by her husband Victor Kolynchuk, son Mark Kolynchuk (Melanie), daughter Allison Kolynchuk and brother Robert Murovec.

Dear Vic, Allison, Mark and Melanie, Margaret and I just got back into town earlier this evening and were shocked, then most deeply saddened to read of the passing of your dear wife, mother and mother-in-law. Despite the fact that life has led us in different directions and that we hadn't spoken in some time, we still retain warm memories of sharing food, laughs and libations at your home and ours. While Margaret always wore the more serious look at these occasions, it was great fun to get her to let down her guard from time to time and see her laugh out loud with us or at our antics. She will be missed by all who had the privilege to get to truly know her. Please accept our deepest and most sincere condolences at your terrible loss.
