With sad hearts, but fond memories, we announce Fayre’s peaceful passing at Golden West Centennial Lodge on September 26, 2023.
Fayre has been reunited with her husband of 60 years, Champ; parents, Mary and Robert; brother Bob; sisters-in-law, Lynne and Shirley; and brother-in-law Don. She is survived by sons, Jeff (Vicki), Ben (Jackie), and Drew (Angela); grandchildren, Elliott, Jaxon, and A.J.; brother-in-law Ben; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family extends special thanks to Riverside Lions Supportive Living and Golden West Centennial Lodge for their compassionate care, as well as to Gail for her unwavering support and companionship during Fayre’s dementia journey.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Ethical Death Care for the beautiful photo-biography video they have provided in celebration of Fayre’s life. This can be watched by following the "tributes" link at the bottom of this obituary.
A celebration of Fayre’s life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Charleswood United Church (4820 Roblin Boulevard).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Fayre’s memory may be made to the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation (Cardiac Care), the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, or a charity of your choice.
