Dear Jane, John & Brian, Dear Lesley embraced life, her family and community with grace, enthusiasm, compassion and support, for the betterment of all. We have so many wonderful memories of her and David, who enlightened me about fishfly! We'll think of her, and her many colleagues and volunteers, who contributed to the "VGH 2009 Guilded Goodies cookbook". Wonderful significant friendships were formed. Lesley dedinitely made our world an infinitely better place. Our deepest condolences, Love and hugs, Heather & Jim Smith, Nanaimo, BC - Posted by: Heather & Jim Smith (Neighbours and long time friends) on: Oct 24, 2023

Jane and John - We are so sorry for your loss. Lesley and Dave were an important part of the Freshwater Institute crew in the 1970s and 80s. We have many special memories. Burton remembers learning how to prepare and smoke rainbow trout from Dave at the Freshwater Institute field station at Erickson. Leslie remembers being a bridesmaid with Lesley at the garden wedding of our joint friends Martha and Roger Peet. - Posted by: Burton Ayles and Leslie Klass (friends) on: Oct 21, 2023

Lesley was such a wonderful friend. We often worked side by side at the Victoria Hospital as volunteers. She was such a gracious person in every way, and will be greatly missed. Our condolences to the family. Barb and Ashley Langridge - Posted by: Barbara Langridge (Friend ) on: Oct 08, 2023
