It is with great sadness that our family is announcing the passing of our beloved mother at the age of 83.
Jean is survived by her three daughters, Donna (Campbell), Gail (Domenic), and Cynthia (Neil); step-daughter Darlene (Bruce); grandchildren, Adrian (Majda), Julian, and Cameron; great-grandchildren, Maxwell and Mia; sister Pauline; brothers, Mike and Orest (Shirley); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Leo Larocque; parents, Maria and Nick Drewniak; sister Helen; and brothers Peter and John.
Jean was born in Fork River, Manitoba and worked on the farm until she moved to Winnipeg. She was a very loving and dedicated mother and grandmother who worked diligently to provide for her family. Jean had the strength of a warrior, and a wonderful sense of humor even right to the end. She retired from Kraft Food Services in 2000. Jean was the most amazing cook and was well known for making the best perogies, everyone loved her perogies and they were always in high demand.
Jean had the most beautiful spirit and was a joy to all who knew her. We will miss you deeply, our beautiful Jeannie.
The family would like to thank the staff at Riverpark Gardens. A private family celebration of life was held.
