Bill lived a long and fulfilling life, passing away peacefully at the age of 92.
Bill is survived by his wife Maudrene; daughters, Linda (Alex), and JoAnn (Rick); grandchildren, Alan (Amanda), Kathryn, Megan (Nathan), Blair (Allison), and Cameron (Andrew); four great-grandsons; and brother John (Marilyn).
A jokester, with a great laugh, with many stories from his love of travel, especially the family trips, the years of being a Khartum Shriner in the Drum and Bugle Corps, and of course a favourite place of his; the Bird Lake cottage built from scratch.
As per Dad’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will take place at a later date.
To honour his memory, donations can be made to the Khartum Shrine Patient Transportation Fund, 420 Corydon Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0N8.

Linda, Alex, Jo-Ann, Rick, grandchildren and great grandchildren we are so saddened by Bill's passing. We remember all the great times at the Lake, the great food, the stories, the laughs and the wine overflowing. Bill and Gerry worked together in the optical field for many years.
