Mark Stephen Wilson at age 60, was promoted to heaven with his wife by his side.
Mark is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cheryl (nee Ivy); daughter Megan; son-in-law Bryce Twerdochlib; and son Braden. He leaves behind his mother Joan; father Derek (deceased); sister Dawn; mother-in-law Joan Ivy; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Lynn and Jason Stephen. Mark will be greatly missed by his extended family and friends.
Mark’s joy in life was his family and he was a much-loved son, husband and father. He served in the R.C.A.F. and once retired, worked as an Educational Assistant in the St. James Assiniboia School Division.
Much appreciation to healthcare providers at Grace Hospital and Oakview Place.
Donations to be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Manitoba.
Celebration of Life will be held in the near future.

I had the pleasure to work along side Mark in the St. James Assiniboia School Division. Mark was a kind soul and treated everyone with respect and dignity. The children under his care were very fortunate to have Mark as their educational assistant. Mark cherished his family and talked lovingly of them. I met Mark in 1989. I knew Cheryl before meeting Mark. It didn’t take long before I loved them both. Mark was kind, gentle, and always had a smile on his face. I never heard him say an unkind word about anyone. He loved his family and friends deeply and everyone loved. My condolences to you Cheryl, Megan & Bryce, Braden and the rest of your family.
