CHRISTOPHER G. MCDONALD
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son and cousin, Chris McDonald at the age of 54 at Grace Hospital in Winnipeg.
The family wishes to thank Ethical Death Care for the beautiful tribute they have provided in celebration of Chris' life. This can be viewed by following the "tributes" link at the bottom of this obituary.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Windsor Park United Church, 1062 Autumnwood Drive, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Refreshments will be served following the event. A graveside service will be held at a later date.

I have so many fond memories of Chris. I've known him since I was 18, he was 20 working as a cook at a restaurant while attending university. We used to have so many laughs, when I moved back to BC he would always give me a call and we'd arrange to meet up. I remember us going down hill skiing one time in Manitoba. Not sure it was really down hill skiing either of us were doing as there wasn't much of a mountain but after that day our favourite expression to say to each other was "You're Out Of Control" haha He had such a genuine laugh, was so kind and such a sweetheart. I remember going to see the jets with Chris and friends on New Years. Was such a laugh and we all had a great time. My parents and sister also send their love and condolences as they knew him and really liked him. I am so sad that he is gone but I will remember all the good times, laughs and many long chats we had over the years when visiting each other and the good times we all had hanging out together with our friends.
