He loved his Winnipeg Jets. Ed was an excellent lawn bowler, as well as being a proficient coach when he was teaching the game to others. He had a great smile when he was enjoying an amusing thought. Sandra was a great partner for Ed. He knew he was lucky to have her support. - Posted by: George Ames (Lawn bowling friend. Fellow beer drinker too !😀🍺) on: Nov 09, 2024

I met Ed thru the Winnipeg Model Railroad Club. Ed was always quick with a joke and a great modeler. His encyclopedic memory was one his friends envied. I had the pleasure of helping Ed with his model railroad in 2011 to 2013. His talents were a joy to witness. He will be fondly remembered. R.I.P. my friend. - Posted by: Dave Downie (Friend - Fellow Model Railroader) on: Nov 23, 2023

Our sincerest condolences Sandra. Ed was a crucial member of the WinNtrak gang in the early 90s and fondest memories of him. Loved his British N scale he had before the switchover to the larger scale for the grandkids. - Posted by: Ray Kindrat (WinNtrak Model Railroad Group) on: Nov 18, 2023
