Kocha and I are first cousins. I remember the summer days back in the 60’s, when we lived in Bitola. I always looked up to you and wanted to hang out with you. You were more interested in taking the girls to Korzo. We didn’t see much of each other until we came to Canada. My family arrived the year after yours did, in 1970. I have so many great memories of us. I loved when you used to take me to a restaurant on Portage Ave across from The Bay, called Manhattan. You’d give me 25 cents to pick three songs to play on the jukebox. They also had the best egg salad sandwiches. I’ll also never forget you trying to teach me how to drive in your 1972 blue Buick. I may have failed the first time I took the road test, but eventually I passed. The table at our family gatherings were always filled with the best food, deserts and decorated plates, just like a high class restaurant. You loved to cook. I’ve made your famous Kebapci many times. You never did give me the exact recipe. Yours were so full of flavour, the perfect amount of spice. No one made them as good as you. Thanks to Blago, who hired us at GB Graphics, we started to hang out even more. That’s when the fun began. We joked every day, work was fun. You used to tell me Tomce, don’t bring lunch tomorrow, I made Grafce vo Tavce (beans in a pan). It was something to die for. You loved to cook, especially barbecuing at the GB picnic. You were so talented at your work, I still have the mug you made me with the GB logo. Thank you for making the ceramic pictures of my parents for the stone. I will always cherish them. I want to thank Steff and Linda for calling me that day to come and be by your side. It meant so much to me to make it to the hospital in time to say good bye. I hope you were able to hear what I said. Until we see each other again, may you rest in peace Kocho. Love, Tomce. - Posted by: Tom Hristovski (Cousin ) on: Nov 24, 2023

I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the Hristovski family on the passing of Kocha. I have many fond memories of Kocha after working side by side with him for 20 plus years at GB Graphics. He was not only a friend to me but I also considered him a mentor, he will be greatly missed. It is with a heavy heart I am unable to attend his celebration of life do to being out of country, but Kocha will be very much in my thoughts that day. Again, my deepest condolences. - Posted by: Don Supeene (Friend) on: Nov 24, 2023
