Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Mrs. Lackey did a wonderful job in a household of boys and their goofy friends. Mrs. Lackey was a big part of our family's circle, being our friend's Mom, wife of our coach and, along with Mr. Lackey, our parent's good friends. She was fierce when it came to backing her boys but also not afraid to let them have it if she felt they deserved it. The Wolstencroft's will miss her and will always have fond memories of her. Our condolences to all the Lackey family. - Posted by: Thomas Wolstencroft (Family friend) on: Dec 11, 2023

  • My condolences to the Family, Jean was such a wonderful lady to work with at Safeway. For years we had so much fun and laughs working together. Jean had a beautiful heart and always looked out for Val and myself. She was always a great host when we were invited over to the house for a drink and a swim. Rest In Peace lovely lady you will always be in our hearts my friend. - Posted by: Gary Swann (Work friend ) on: Nov 26, 2023

  • So sorry for your loss, it is so hard to lose a parent. I have such found memories of both of your parents standing in a snow bank cheering us on at north kildonan hockey games.., - Posted by: Gerry Allford (Friend of the family) on: Nov 25, 2023
