Peacefully, Dad passed away on November 18, 2023 at Concordia Place after a three-year struggle with Dementia; he was 71.
Dad’s wife of 42 years, Holly, passed in 2017 and we find comfort knowing he is with her again. Dad is also predeceased by his brother Arthur Knight. Dad will be remembered by his daughter Kristen Pritchard (Matthew); son Alexander Knight; sister Mary Knight (Michael); sister-in-law Beth Knight; and his nieces and nephews.
Our favorite memories of Dad include listening to his favorite music together, a good game of Crib, camping and fishing in the Whiteshell, and evenings spent with him and mom at their Lee River home, where they had retired together in 2011. Dad’s garage was always open, and a beer was waiting for you in the fridge. Dad was quite the mechanic and handy-man and enjoyed helping others by fixing what he could. If you ever needed to borrow a tool, he had it!
In accordance with Dads wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Thank you to the staff of Concordia Place, 2nd floor for their kindness and compassion while caring for Dad.
