Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Bob was one of the “gang” back in his teenage years. We had some hilarious times, with my brother Ken and our friends Brian, Tim, Wilf, and Dave. The ‘60’s & ‘70’s were the best part of my life and Bob helped make it so. We had some pretty good times and a number of very funny stories as well. My condolences to the LaChance family. I feel fortunate to have known Bob and fortunate that I found this obit just in passing. Goodbye my friend. See you on the other side. It was great knowing you. - Posted by: Randy Heatherington (Friend) on: Feb 03, 2025

  • Pam and family, thinking of you with a very heavy heart, deepest of condolences. Remembering all the good times with 'Robbie' at his childhood home on Scotland Ave. Our family visits to Morris Man. Grateful to have caught up with you again in Wpg a few years ago. Such a great guy you will be so missed. Your cousin Beverley Downey in Vernon BC and Larry Downey. - Posted by: Beverley Downey (Cousin ) on: Dec 23, 2023

  • We've been neighbours of Pam & Bob for 30 years. Bob was a quiet, gentle person. He was ready to offer assistance whenever he saw a need. For example, if a car wouldn't start, Bob was there to offer a battery charger. He always seemed to have treats in his pocket, just in case he saw our dog on the deck. Covid really limited his comings & goings, but I'd often see him on the front step when I'd come home from work. He was one person that I could discuss stereo equipment with. If he had a stereo magazine he'd thought I'd be interested in reading, he would offer to share it with me. we will miss him, and our thoughts are with Pam & the family at this time. - Posted by: Gord & Yvonne (Friend) on: Dec 04, 2023

  • Dear Pam and family, My most sincere condolences on the loss of your Husband, father, grandfather. Always enjoyed my chats with Bob outside of work waiting for Pam to finish her work day. Very nice man. May he rest in eternal peace. - Posted by: CRAIG COTTRELL (Coworker) on: Dec 03, 2023
