It is with great sadness that we announce Morley passed away at Riverview Hospital on November 27. He was in his 79th year.
Morley will be missed by his daughter Joelle (Ed), son Ron; his grandchildren, Avery, Jayden, Jessica, Ashley, Rylan, Tyson, Randy and Matthew. He will also be missed by his sister Lorna Steinke (Ed); sister-in-law and brother-in-law Donna and Fred Sokolosky; and life-long friends, Dick and Dorothy Drescher, Ron Korchinsky; as well as many nieces and nephews. Morley was predeceased by his wife of 55 years, Marian (Doyle) and his son Ric.
After graduating from Tec Voc, Morley started his sales career at the Winnipeg Free Press. His sales career moved to Gregory Cartwright Office Products (GC) where he became a successful business man and partner. After many happy years working with great people at GC, the company was sold. Morley’s next chapter was selling real estate, where he also excelled. Morley had a very keen business sense and high appreciation for customer service.
Morley retired and spent all his time with Marian, assisting her with her health issues. Shortly after Marian passed, Morley was diagnosed with lung cancer. He did his best to fight it but lost the battle.
In accordance with Morley’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.
