SAM POMERANSKY
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dad, after a brief illness.
Lovingly remembered by his children Burt, Debbie, Lynn and Cliff; his grandchildren, Curtis, Jennifer and Dave; as well as family and friends.
Sam enjoyed his life with the love of his life of 61 years until Deanna’s passing in 2021. Together they shared a love of nature, especially hiking at Birds Hill Park, gardening, and bird watching. He enjoyed golfing with Burt. His retirement years were spent at Good Neighbours Senior Centre volunteering to help keep the gardens looking nice and taking wood carving classes. It was a good social time where he made some good friends and learned a thing or two. His memory will live on in all the carvings that the family has received.
He enjoyed Jennifer and Curts’ hockey games and never missed one if he could help it. He loved being a big part of their lives and was very proud of them. In the last few years, he enjoyed lunches with the family.
Thank you to everyone who visited him during his health challenges as well as his friends and the wonderful staff at Concordia Village. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Neighbours Senior Centre.

Dear Lynn , Burt and families. So sorry for the loss of your dad. I enjoyed spending time with both of your parents. They taught me how to play crib. We spent time talking about the past. - Posted by: Marlene Pomarenski (Second cousin ) on: Dec 09, 2023
