With profound sadness we announce the sudden passing of Nettie, our beloved mother, grandmother and friend on November 29, 2023.
Nettie was born on the family farm in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba, to parents Michael and Mollie (nee Burtnyk) Gingera. At 19, Nettie moved to Winnipeg, met the love of her life, Ron Creran, and they later married in 1962.
Nettie was predeceased by her parents; husband Ron; siblings Olga, Jean, Lana, Walter, Anne, Ernie, Rose, Ross, John, and Michael; and survived by sisters, Helen and Marina. She will be greatly missed by her children, Jim and wife Catherine, Scott and wife Michelle; as well grandchildren, Kyle, Julia, Shanon, Logan, and Grace.

Celebration of life to be held December 21, 2023 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Unitarian Facility, 603 Wellington Crescent, Winnipeg.

I am sad that I won’t hear your voice at the end of the phone although you are very clear in my thoughts. We all loved your energy and frankness. Generosity and skills in cooking and baking and always willing to share stories of her most loved family.
