Bruce Shaw, our kind, sweet, talented, and very funny husband, father, brother, and uncle, passed away on December 2.
He is survived by his wife Miriam; son Benjamin; daughter Erin; sister Debra (Ron); brothers, Mike (Theresa) and Rob (Chris); brothers-in-law, Mark (Kim) and Robert (Sheryl); and his nephews and nieces, Mike (Miranda), Andrew (Andrea), Douglas, Erin (Kevin) Zoë, Riley (Leah), Emma, Miranda and Sam, and Justeen.
A celebration of their life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at 603 Wellington Crescent at Academy Road (Unitarian Church).
The family expresses gratitude to first responders, medical staff at the Health Science Centre, and Ethical Death Care for their touching photo-biography video honoring Bruce's life, this is accessible through the 'tributes' link at the bottom of this obituary.

I was lucky enough to work with Bruce for the last 10 years and will miss hearing him whistling around the shop, his inquisitiveness and the pride he took in doing his job well. He will be missed and remembered by his Broadway family. Remembering Bruce fondly from my teenage years, with time spent with him and my brother Paul! Lazy fun filled days at the Cabin, playing Frisbee in Peanut Park, shooting pool in my parents basement, or a rousing game of ping pong! Too many parties at too many different addresses around Winnipeg to even mention. Bruce lived life to the fullest and will be deeply missed by many! My sincere condolences to his family!
