Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • Evelyn was always a breath of fresh air! We enjoyed having her join our family at the lake and various celebrations throughout the year. I'm sad to hear of her passing and I know she is missed very much by so many that love her. I will miss her, her zest for life and her strength. I know she's turned heaven into a more beautiful place and from above, I know she is looking after everyone she has touched that she has left behind on earth. - Posted by: Trish Forde (Friend through Family) on: Dec 20, 2023

  • She was such a delight in Portugal and she had such a good time. I wish I could have known her longer. Judy Naaykens. - Posted by: Judy Naaykens (Friend) on: Dec 16, 2023

  • Sending our sincere condolences, Susan and Greg. Our lives intersected with your Mom’s in a variety of ways—friends/attenders of CMC/Westgate parents/Ladies Lunch Out attender, and as our kids’ French teacher. Her sense of humour, display of fun (or the silly) and characteristic laugh were epic! We admired the positive attitude, personal strength and faith displayed throughout her cancer journey. She will be missed by many. - Posted by: Marlene & Baj (friends ) on: Dec 13, 2023

  • Aunty Evelyn was a kind soul who influenced my love of travel. When visiting her to help with my french studies, she had the most interesting things around the home and always a wonderful story behind them. I particularly enjoyed her tales of Africa. She had the patience and knowledge of a true teacher. Rest in Peace Aunty Ev. - Posted by: Janice Kostelnyk (Niece) on: Dec 13, 2023
