Lindsay Carlson passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the age of 71 at his home in the R.M. of Alexander (Broadlands), MB.
Lindsay was predeceased by his parents, his brother and his two sisters. He will be lovingly remembered by his niece, nephews, many friends and extended family. He will be remembered for his self-taught wisdom, many stories and jokes.
Lindsay grew up in Broadlands and built his home on the family land. His home and cats were his pride and joy.
He took over the family business Wild Rice Farming & Trapping in addition to working at St Croix Cycle & Marine. All of this let him enjoy his many interests of flying, motorcycles, quads, snowmobiling, boats, scuba diving and just tinkering with everything.
As per Lindsay’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.

Though we have not seen each other for many years, your family was always a part of us growing up. I am sitting here recalling all the fun times we had out on the farm, so many years ago…..may you RIP….. - Posted by: Judy Andrushko (Cousin) on: Dec 17, 2023

Lindsay was a great friend. Enjoyed his company with plenty of stories and jokes around the bonfire. Lindsay always invited us to the point for a good swim and a couple beers. Will be greatly missed. - Posted by: Frank & Monique Hawranik (Friend) on: Dec 16, 2023

The many many adventures that Lindsay created back in the mid sixties to early 70’s for whenever his cousin Larry and I had an opportunity to be “at the farm”, have been some of the most cherished of my life. Although that was some 50 years ago I still continue to share many of these adventures with my grandkids today. His energy, enthusiasm was infectious. From home made belt driven motorbikes, to big V8 powered go-carts, souped up outboard engined hydroplane; whatever he took on was brilliantly engineered and a testament to his can do attitude. Rest in Peace. - Posted by: Peter (Teen/young adult friend) on: Dec 16, 2023
