ROSE MCRAE
Peacefully, on December 10, 2023, our most beautiful mom, grandma, great-grandma, and friend, Rose McRae, died at the age of 86 years.
Rose was predeceased by her true love, Gordon McRae (2018). She leaves behind her daughters, Sheila (Marty 2011) and Janice (Arthur); grandchildren, Kristofer, Nicholas (Nicole), Sarah (Jordan), Alexander (Jenna), Toby, Abigail, and Isabelle; and great-grandchildren, Mads and Viggo.
A service to honour Rose will be held in the Assiniboine Park Pavilion Atrium at 1:30 p.m. on January 14, 2024. In lieu of flowers, donations to your charity of choice would be appreciated.

Rose was a lovely partner to my former manager Gord McRae. I am so sorry not to have known about her passing until now. She was admired and loved. She will be with Gord to continue their happy union. Beautiful Rose was as beautiful as the flower inside and out. Rose had a ready smile and laugh every time we were lucky enough to share her company with her lovely family. Rose made a person feel safe and welcome with her winning engagement. Everyone with a mom like Rose is lucky to have her! She is a beautiful soul and a shining light in the hearts of all who knew her. May we all carry a piece of her love with us in our lives. She will never be forgotten! I will always remember the year I spent in Winnipeg (1993) hanging out with Sheila, Jan and Rose in all the finest crafting facilities of Winnipeg!! Rose was such a great addition to the party - a good humored, willing participant in all the shenanagins!! She will be missed by her big and loving family but also by faraway friends who only crossed paths with her ever so briefly in her 86 year old life - I am grateful to have known her!
