JACQUELINE (JACQUIE) JEANNE MARIE ERICKSON
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jacqueline Erickson. Jacquie passed the afternoon of December 1, 2023, with her family by her side. She was 67 years old.
Jacquie is survived by her children, Chantal (Derek) and Jared (Ashley); grandchildren, Adam, Aiden, and Bella; mother Gilberte Garand; sisters Suzanne (Ron), Monique, and Louise (James); brothers Adrien (Mary), Claude (Louise), and Marc (Jacqueline); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Roland Garand; and nephew Rene Tachnak.
In her last years of life, she enjoyed time at the lake, seeing her grandkids and family, her workout crew (The 5Ws), and the small things like a cup of coffee or a good margarita.
Jacquie and her family would like to thank the nurses on the palliative care team, all the staff in the palliative care ward at St. Boniface Hospital, as well as the team from MAiD.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or CancerCare Manitoba in her memory.
Jacquie was never one to enjoy being the centre of attention, so at this time, no service or celebration of life has been planned.
