It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our mother Dorothy Turk on December 11, 2023 at the age of 91.
Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her children, Marilyn, Michael (Wendy), and David (Caron); grandchildren, Jamie, Ryan, and Shayne; and her siblings, Bob (Helen), Joyce, Corinne (Al), and Marge (Larry). She was predeceased by her husband Charles and granddaughter Kate, and brother-in-law Gary.
Dorothy took immense pride in her family, and her grandchildren were her life.
Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will take place at Green Acres Cemetery.

I am sorry for your loss. Your mom was very kind and had an infectious smile. Dorothy and my mom, Joyce Loewen were friends since school. Her nickname was Babe, never told why. My mom would often tell how they'd like to watch baseball, think her dad was a coach. Mom would point out the Charman's house on Henderson where she'd spend a lot of time. Growing up our families would get together from time to time and have fun. Your mom would frequently join the YMCA Roadrunner's casino road trips, sharing a room with my mom.
