HELGA ELLY BRUENGER

1930 - 2024

Helga passed away peacefully at the Victoria Hospital on January 10. She was predeceased by her loving husband Fred of 66 years.

Born 1930 in Berlin, Germany and came to Canada in 1957 where she worked in positions in the medical field until her retirement in 1994.

She will be remembered for her love of people, animals, her kindness and concern for others. She got along with everyone.

Family would like to thank the staff at the Victoria Hospital and also the great home care workers of WRHA.

As per her wishes there will be no service. We love you and will miss you.

She loved this quote

“When I am gone, release me, let me go,

I have so many things to see and do,

you mustn’t tie yourself to me with tears;

be happy that we had so many years.

I thank you for all the love you have

shown, but now it’s time I travel alone.

I won’t be far away for life goes on,

So if you need me, call and I will come.

Though you can’t see or touch me

I’ll be near and if you listen with your heart, you’ll hear all my love

around you soft and clear
