It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear wife and Mom, Marilyn, on January 10.
Marilyn is survived by her loving husband and soulmate of 62 years, Lucien (Lou) Brodeur; children, Karen Brodeur Trotter (Sean), Cheryl Pilek (Russ) and Loralei Douglas (Murray), grandchildren, Keenan, Aidan (Emma), Owen, Cailin and Thomas; siblings, Barbara Thompson (Bill), Heather Moffat-Newman (Andrew) and Jim Moffat (Robbyn); many special in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Edith and James Moffat, and brother Bruce Moffat (Edna).
A private service will be held on Wednesday, January 17. The service will also be shared virtually.
The family expresses gratitude to Ethical Death Care for their touching photo-biography video honouring Mom's life, accessible through the ‘tributes’ link at the bottom of this obituary.
