After a lengthy illness, it is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Maureen Ann Dixon, at the Hunter Memorial Hospital, Teulon, on January 16, 2024, at the age of 78 years.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Reg in 2022; parents, Ray and Catharine; and sisters, Patricia and Shirley.
Left to mourn are her children, Kimberly, Jeff, and Melanie (Lance); her grandchildren whom she cherished, Dorian and Olivia; and her brother Jim.
Mom loved to spend time baking with her grandkids and having a coffee with her best friends, Minnie and Flo. She was always willing to lend a hand to whoever needed it.
Our family would like to thank the many Nurses and Doctors at the Stonewall and Teulon Hospitals.
As per Mom’s request, cremation has taken place and a gathering will take place at the Stonewall Legion, 459 Main Street on Saturday, January 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Amant Foundation, 440 River Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2M 3Z9.
