DANIELLE CHRISTINE JOROWSKI
With heavy hearts we announce that Danielle “Dani” passed away peacefully, at home, with her husband and soulmate by her side. She was 49 years of age.
Dani is survived by her husband of 16 years, Darren; parents, Stanley and Georgette; brothers, Brent (Cathy) and Brad (Jackie); nephew Andrew; niece Madeleine; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Dani was born and raised in Winnipeg’s Crestview area where as a youth was active in dance and ringette. In her adult life she found passion in music, dancing, cooking, nature, physical fitness, hiking, canoeing, and her beloved Winnipeg Jets.
The family expresses gratitude to Ethical Death Care for their touching photo-biography video honouring Dani’s life, accessible through the “tributes” link at the bottom of this obituary.
A celebration of Dani’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 3584 Portage Ave (ANAVET 283). Please come have a drink and share a story to celebrate Dani. Please wear Jets gear if you have.
In accordance with Dani’s wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation in Dani’s honour at cancercarefdn.mb.ca

I am deeply sorry to Danielle's family for this terrible loss. I grew up in Crestview with Dani as one of my best friends. We were in dance, ringette, and all kinds of other mischief together. I always loved our sleep overs and was lucky enough to attend a few Jets games with Dani and her family. I have deep regret that we were never able to reconnect as adults.
