Peacefully with family by her side, Aurore (affectionately known as Mimi) passed away at Action Marguerite in St. Vital where she received exceptional care.
Mimi was predeceased by her son Gilles, husband Alphonse, parents Omer and Irene, one brother Emile, brother-in-law Walter and sister-in-law Margie. Mimi is survived by her daughter Carol (Roger); sons, Raymond (Leslie), Robert (Wendy), Gerald, and Alain; grandchildren Jared (Bailey), Riley, Makayla, Rebecca, Gunnar (great-grandchild), Kaitlynn, Kelli-Ann, and Ryan; brothers David (Rita), Raymond and sister Jeannette. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
Mimi had an infectious laugh and was funny, bubbly, incredibly kind, compassionate, thoughtful, and humble. Mimi loved her children and grandchildren very much; she would have done anything for them. She loved our visits and enjoyed chatting with us. Mimi's children and grandchildren were truly her pride and joy, always referring us as to her heart and soul. Mimi's greatest joy in life was being a mom and grandmother.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral and cremation has taken place. Each of us in our own special way will always remember and love you. Miss your smile, Miss your hugs, Miss your love. We will unconditionally love you forever, your family.

Our deepest sympathy to all the family. We remember many fun times when they lived in north of Dominion City. - Posted by: Bert & Joey Simpson (friend) on: Jan 20, 2024
