Sonny always was smiling and made us all laugh at Club 60. It was a joy to see him and we knew it would a fun shift when he was there which was everyday. Rest in peace Sonny. - Posted by: David Morrison (Co-worker/ friend ) on: Jan 21, 2024

Sonny is a Major roll player in the History of Pine Falls. He was a Father to so many kids he would hire at Sonny's Chicken House. Everyone that worked for Sonny would say he was the best Boss ever. At a drop of a hat he would be there to pitch in, especially at the Arena. Stripping and sealing the Lobby floor at night. My most memorable experience with Sonny was when I broke my ankle playing Jr.B hockey. Sonny was the first one to jump on the ice. And to grin and bear the pain he took off his glove and shoved it in my mouth threw me in a van and took me to the ER. RIP my friend you made a difference in so many peoples lives. - Posted by: Ian Cyr (Mentor) on: Jan 20, 2024

First off condolences to Lonnie, Garnett and family. The world really lost a wonderful human being. I cannot remember which year it was but Sonny first moved to Pine falls in the early 1970s. Through their love of playing poker and other card games as well as the perfect meal him and my father became fast Friends. In my father's later years Sonny really went above and beyond the call of duty looking out for my father like an older brother despite the 18 year age difference. I can think of many wonderful and happy stories about Sonny's, my late father's and Len Romano's trips to the casino, various restaurants as well as grocery stores. Thank you Sonny for looking out for my father as well as a few other older folks. It was not unappreciated or forgotten.
