Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBLAIR ALAN SCHROEDER
It is with great sadness that Blair’s family announces his passing.
Our sweet brother leaves behind his siblings, Susan Curran, Bruce Schroeder, Wendy Spillett and Brenda Thom (Bryan); nieces and nephews, Stacey Bright (Michael), Krista Colosimo (Peter), Alan Curran (Heather Beattie Curran), Kyle Thom (Oana Toma) and Lesley Keats; as well as eight great-nieces and nephews. Blair was predeceased by his parents, Vincent Schroeder (1979) and Peggy Schroeder (2004); and brothers-in-law, Gary Spillett (2004), and Jim Curran (2011).
Blair was an affectionate, sometimes silly and often unintentionally funny fellow, with lots of love to give.
He loved his wrestling, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Winnipeg Jets, Winnipeg Blue Bombers (he owned more jerseys than anybody could count) and he belonged to the Special Olympics and participated in swimming and bowling.
Blair loved going out to restaurants but above all, adored being with family and family friends.
He will be missed and remembered fondly by many.
A private graveside service will take place in the summer.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Deer Lodge Centre, DASCH, Humane Society, or Special Olympics.
A huge thank you goes out to DASCH for over 20 years of care, and to Deer Lodge Centre for a year of care, love, and compassion.

Dear Susan, Bruce, Wendy and Brenda and families. I am so sorry to read of the passing of Blair. We send our condolences to all of you. He was such an integral part of your lives. Last time I saw Brenda at her work she mentioned that Blair was ill. But he had a very full life and interests that kept him very busy and I'm sure happy. And you girls also kept him busy and active too. We will keep him in our thoughts always. Barb - Posted by: Barbara Tanner (Baggott) (Friend) on: Jan 27, 2024

To all the family. What a lovely man Blair was. He was funny, caring and just so interested in so many things. I first met Blair after meeting my husband Brian and I was so happy to meet such a caring person. He cared for his Mom Peggy and we all were so surprised at how well he looked after his Mom. I am hoping that Brian looking after Blair or Blair looking after Brian. Two such loving people! My most sincere sympathy to Sue, Wendy, Brenda and Bruce. Such a sad day! - Posted by: leslie sammons (friend) on: Jan 27, 2024
