Our sincere condolences on the passing of your dear Mom, Grandma & Great-Grandma & loved one. She was a gracious lady! I too remember her as Anne Zasitko's sister and the remarkable thing for me as a kid growing up in Eriksdale was that Anne & Joyce had SUCH a strong Scottish accent, you'd think they'd just gotten off the boat from Scotland yesterday! The other amazing thing was Joyce's memory: for some strange reason she would always greet me by my sister Carole's name, & when I'd say I was Cindy, not Carole, she'd say "Oh Yes! Cindy! I knew that!" & we'd both have a little chuckle! She & your Dad, Adam, were always interested in the fact that a "town kid" like ME had married a FARMER, Jeff, & your Dad would ask Jeff how the crops & cattle were etc. May the sharing of memories, laughter, tears bring you comfort as you mourn the loss of your Mom & Grandma & loved one. We will keep you in our thoughts & prayers. With love & hugs! God Bless! - Posted by: Jeff & Cindy Plett (Friends ) on: Feb 05, 2024

Joyce’s family; I had the pleasure of knowing Joyce as Ann Zazitko’s sister. Although I live in Mulvihill our paths often crossed. Joyce always remembered me and acknowledged me. The last time I saw her was Eriksdale Christmas Craft sale and she acknowledged me but I had no recollection of her. I felt so bad that I didn’t know her and show her the same courtesy she always showed me. Another loved one gone. She was a special lady and I hope I will always remember her. I have great memories when I can draw on them. Joyce Sewell - Posted by: Joyce (Sewell) on: Jan 28, 2024
