Rosalind Ellen Bonni, known to her loved ones as Roz, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2024, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 71. She was born on March 29, 1952, in Altona, Manitoba, to William and Eva Falk.
Roz was a kind, giving, and hard-working woman who was known for her loyalty and patience. She was a devoted wife to her husband Richard and a loving mother to her sons, Jonathan, Billy (Tammy) and her daughters, Melanie, Mandy (Doug) and Becky (Mike); Roz also cherished her role as a grandmother to her grandchildren, Alex, Brooke, Braden, Eric, and Emma. She also leaves behind her two sisters, Wilma and Shirley.
Roz was preceded in death by her parents, William and Eva Falk, and her daughter Melanie Lowen.
A celebration of Roz's life will take place at a later date to honour her memory and the impact she had on the lives of those around her. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society to support their important work.
The family would like to thank the staff at Concordia Hospital and CancerCare for their kindness and compassion.
May Roz's kind and giving spirit live on in the hearts of those she left behind, and may she rest in peace.
