WILLIAM ANDREW JAMES (DREW) CHRISTENSON

June 19, 1950 (Saskatoon) -

January 26, 2024 (Winnipeg)

On January 26, 2024, at 17:00, my best friend and love died in my arms. He was the most wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Drew was predeceased by his mom and dad, Bob and Jean Christenson; and his in-laws, Audrey and Mickey Toffin. He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Wendy; sons, Scott (Kaitlyn) and Lee (Claire); his greatest treasures: his grandchildren, Kellan and Freya; siblings, Stephen (Dawn), Brian, Debbie (Dave), and Sharon (Henry); as well as numerous nieces and nephews who were all very special to him.

Drew started his career as a paramedic with the City of Winnipeg. He retired as Director of E.M.S. for the Interlake R.H.A. He made so many friends along the way and enjoyed talking to people and learning about them. As many of you know, his passion was reading, politics, and history.

Drew touched many lives as has been shown by the outpouring of caring and warm words of comfort. Our family sends warm hugs to all of you. It means so much to us.

Cremation has occurred and a Celebration of Life will be planned in the future.

Please make a donation to Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.

I just want to tell you how

fortunate I feel to have had Drew

in my life for over 50 years.

Thank you Drew for being not only

my husband, but my best friend.

Until we meet again, my love.
