Ina was predeceased by her husband Glen, her parents, Joseph and Janet and brother James. She is survived by daughter Kim along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Ina grew up in EK and started school at Prince Edward and graduated in 1954 from Miles Mac. After attending Angus Business College, she worked as a secretary for CNR for almost 10 years in Winnipeg and Edmonton. She also worked for a Real Estate Appraiser and later running the testing for vision and hearing in River East School Division for a number of years. Ina enjoyed her time living in Denmark and visiting her parents birth country of Scotland. She also enjoyed knitting and crochet and was an avid reader as well as ballroom style dancing which she taught for a few years. She spent some of her last volunteering years as co-ordinator of "Blanketing Manitoba". In recent years Ina's favourite place was sitting on the front porch with a glass of wine enjoying a beautiful summers evening.
Thank you to Dr. Green and all 4-North staff for their excellent and compassionate care and never giving up.
Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. If friends so desire a donation in memory of Ina may be made to a charity of their choice.
