ROSE GORK

In loving memory of Rose Gork, called home on February 4, 2024.

The birds were singing on April 27, 1937, when Rose (Campeau/Malfait) was born. She grew up in Glenella, Manitoba and later moved to Winnipeg, where she married and raised four children.

Rose was predeceased by her son Daniel (1996), husband Mervyn (2000), and daughter Sandra (2020).

Left to mourn and remember her are her daughters, Tanis (Norm) and Cheryl; her grandchildren: Angela, A.J. (Tamra), Allyson (Scott), Curtis, Jaclyn (Cole), and Lydia; and her siblings: Laurette, Angele, Maurice and Bob.

Rose was loved and will be dearly missed.

Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • Tanis, Cheryl and Families. We are so sorry to have received the news of the passing of Aunty Rose. Like my brother Dwaine said above, I will cherish always the memory of her smile and laugh. I have so many memories, just too many to add but may you find comfort in the legacy of love and laughter that she brought in to your lives and the lives of others! I will cherish the memories of our visits to their home there on Dugald Road and all the many laughs we had there. Uncle Merv and Aunty Rose, they were one very special couple and neither will be forgotten. Our deepest sympathy to you all. With love, thoughts and prayers, Ron and Shelley Stewart. - Posted by: Ron and Shelley Stewart (Nephew and my wife) on: Feb 13, 2024

  • Tanis, I was so saddened to read about your mother's recent passing. Sandi being a dear, close friend of mine, I was first introduced to her 50 years ago. She was always a kind and gentle lady who always welcomed me in her home when I visited with Sandi. She will be sorely missed by all. - Posted by: Garry and Allyson Woroniak (Friend of the family) on: Feb 11, 2024
