It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt.

Anka passed peacefully at Holy Family Home surrounded by her family, on February 9, 2024, after a short battle with cancer. She spent the last 14 years of her life at Holy Family Home after suffering a stroke in 2010.

Thank you, Mom, for all your love, compassion, and all that you have sacrificed to make our lives easier and successful. Always in our hearts and will never be forgotten.

We would like to thank all the nurses and caregivers at Holy Family Home for their kindness and care over the many years.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024. Viewing at 10:00 a.m., Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Tavelich Parish, 2688 Main Street. Interment will take place at Glen Eden Cemetery following Mass.

Flowers for the funeral service are welcome to be delivered to Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Anka’s memory to the Holy Family Nursing Home or CancerCare Manitoba.
