Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHEATHER DURKIN
Born July 12, 1962, peacefully passed away on February 18, 2024. She was the cherished daughter of Gerald and Joyce Newbiggin. Affectionately known as 'Hub,' Heather's warmth endeared her to all who knew her.
Heather's journey led her back to Winnipeg, where she began her own family in 1984, welcoming daughter Jennie and later the love of her life, Tim Durkin, and son Justin. Together, they built their dream home in Ste. Genevieve, filled with love and laughter. An avid lover of animals and nature, Heather found joy in the company of her dogs, riding motorcycles with Tim, and camping with her grandchildren. Her boundless love touched the lives of all she encountered.
Heather is survived by her devoted husband Tim; loving children Jennie and Justin; adoring grandchildren, Lincoln, Meadow, Decklan, Sloanne, Everly, and Elodie; sisters Linda, Debbie, and Nancy; along with numerous relatives and friends.
A celebration of Heather's life will be held at a later date to honor her memory.
She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her radiant spirit and unwavering love.

I send my deepest sympathy to Tim and family. Heather was my (late) husband Allan's first cousin as his Mom was a Newbiggin. I remember Heather for her joy of life and overall friendliness. May memories comfort. LAURA FURNIVAL - Posted by: LAURA FURNIVAL (cousin thru marriage) on: Mar 05, 2024

My deepest condolences to Tim and the family. I met Heather and Tim many years ago from Tim and JP's work Christmas parties and events. We all seemed to click right away as friends. Heather and I would talk like we knew each other a life time. She was always so much fun to be around. Never a dull moment with Heather in the room. Her laughter was infectious and a smile that would light up the room. Heather you made me comfortable when I was nervous being a newbie at company gatherings and I was blessed you chose me to befriend. I will miss you dearly, but you will always be on my mind especially around Christmas time.🌹Ride on Forever Sweet Lady🌹 Love you Jo. - Posted by: Joanne Esposito (Friend ) on: Feb 26, 2024
