STANLEY EDWARD HAINES

1949- 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the gentle and peaceful passing of Stanley Edward Haines on Monday, February 19, 2024 at the age of 74. Stan leaves behind his legacy of hard work and family.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, our mom Sharon; his son Jeremy (Tami); grandchild Jillian (Will); great-grandchildren Pierceson and Halston, Tyson (Tatum), Kaomi, Eli, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Seth (Olivia); his daughter Meredith (Kyle); grandchildren Finn and Molly; his brother Glen; sister Colleen (Abe); sisters-in-law Cathy (Craig), and Sandra (Bruce) and numerous family and friends. Stan was predeceased by his parents Harry and Shirley Haines, his aunts, uncles, and many of his close friends.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Stan was a machinist by trade working at Dynamic Machine and Hi-Tech Hydraulics and retiring from Hi-Tech in the front office. Stan lived a good life passing on many life lessons to us, most notably was his generous spirit.

A service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., in the reception area of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave at Henderson Hwy.

Flowers are gratefully declined (not his thing), in lieu please bring a donation of socks for those in need, this would be greatly appreciated.

May you build a ladder to the stars.

May you stay forever young.
