It is with great sadness that the family of Bob Mozdzen announce his passing at St. Boniface Hospital, Palliative Care Unit on Thursday, February 22, 2024, at the age of 75.
Bob was born on March 8, 1948, in Portage la Prairie. He grew up in Teulon, MB, and moved to Winnipeg when he married Linda and started a family. Bob spent his time working as a welder, watching his kids and grandchildren’s sporting events and fixing anything that needed fixing. Bob spent countless hours outside in the backyard, gardening, chatting with people who stopped by, and making his rounds visiting the neighbours.
Bob was very well known in his community. He was the Mr. Fix It of the neighbourhood, always lending a hand fixing bikes, appliances, lawnmowers, and snowblowers. He had a spare part for everything and a guaranteed fix for any item. He always had a bike fixed up and ready to go for each grandchild who needed one.
As per Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place. No formal service will be held.
