AARON PAUL ANDERSON

Aaron Paul Anderson (aka “Archie”), loving husband of Leslie Vitt, passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 56. Aside from his wife, he is survived by his younger sister Julie (Werner), beloved niece Anna, and dear lifelong friends, Simon and Patrick. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Kathy, father-in-law Brian, brother-in-law Jon (Shanda) and nephews, Josh, Ben, Zach and Nick.

Born on November 16,1967 to Helga and Chris Anderson in Winnipeg, MB, Aaron left an indelible mark on all who knew him. Aaron was not only incredibly creative but also had a remarkable wit, delivering puns and humour with unparalleled style. His artistic contributions to Winnipeg’s film industry, particularly as part of the Set crew, were admired by many. Despite facing multiple health challenges in recent years, Aaron made great strides in improving his condition, particularly as it related to aphasia. Aaron’s story is not one of sadness but rather a celebration of art, DIY punk ethos, humour, and kindness. He refused to be defined by his medical conditions and embraced life with unique individuality, and determination. His legacy of creativity, humour, and resilience will forever resonate in the hearts of those he touched.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Aaron’s memory. At Aaron’s request, there will be no funeral. A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
