John “Jack” Turner passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at the age of 84 at Extendicare Oakview Place in Winnipeg, loving husband of Jo-Ann.
A Celebration of Life for Jack will be held in Flin Flon, at a later date in the summer of 2024.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Alzheimer Society.

Dear Joanne: Jack was one of the most memorable people I have had the pleasure of meeting and knowing. His hockey stories are unforgettable, particularly his fight with the Russian bear between periods. He was big and strong with a heart of gold. Always ready to help anyone anytime.. He was a great help to me on the farm when the need arose. It has been said that to live on in the hearts of those you leave behind is not to die and Jack certainly will live on in that regard. We are sorry to hear of Jack's passing and are keeping you in our prayers for healing of you hearts. Jack, 'The Candy Man' at church was such a beautiful soul. He loved to greet everyone at St. Tim's. Jack's smile was so genuine and you could see Jesus shine through him to others. May Jack rest in peace with his Saviour.
