SHIRLEE ANN TRICKETT
With sadness, the family announces Shirlee’s passing on April 23, 2024. She is survived by her mother June; brother Bob; husband Rod; son Chris and daughter-in-law Taylor. She was predeceased by her father Donald (Sandy) Sandberg.
If we are lucky enough, a person will cross into our lives who makes a difference. It may be small or large but with Shirlee, it was a consistency of character. She was completely devoted to family, friends, and all animals. She always put those around her before herself. Our son put it very well when he spoke of the lessons Shirlee taught him; Pick yourself up, keep your head up, and always look forward. Shirlee had an innate ability to see good in all the people she met and nurtured. She changed the lives of so many people and that legacy will remain forever. Our lives are smaller today, but we take solace in her caring and concern for all.
A celebration of Shirlee’s life will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Rossmere Golf and Country Club, 925 Watt Street.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Shirlee's family and loved ones. She is in heaven with Jesus and his angels and her loved ones who are no longer with us. Heaven has been blessed by another very special angel called Shirlee. She will be missed by everyone who loved her.
