It is with great sadness that the family of Cecilia announces her passing on May 12, 2024.
Cecilia passed away peacefully with her family by her side.
She was predeceased by her husband Carmelo Costanzo, granddaughter Francesca C. (LAO), daughter Maria Costanzo, son Salvator Costanzo, brothers-in-law Paolo and Nino Costanzo, sister-in-law Paola Costanzo. Also, brother and sisters in Sicily, Italy.
Cecilia is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughter Carmela, son-in-law Corrado and grandson Corrado Carmelo Lao and also her nieces and nephews here in Winnipeg and in Sicily, Italy.
The family thanks the staff at The Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg (West One) for all the exceptional care given to Cecilia and all nurses, mostly Sherwin and Annabel.
Condolences may be offered on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Avenue. Funeral Liturgy will begin at 11:00 a.m. with entombment to follow in the Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue.
