VIOLETTA GLOWACKI
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Violetta Glowacki. Violetta passed peacefully at her home in Winnipeg on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
Violetta leaves behind her loving husband Bart; son Lucas (Casandra); grandchildren, Jacob, Katarina, Thomas, and Michael; as well as extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home located at 220 Hespeler Avenue at Henderson Hwy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.

We are saddened to read of Violetta’s passing, and we wish the family our sincere condolences. Some 34 years ago, Violetta was the home care worker for our 2 small boys, while Irene was on bed-rest expecting our third baby. She was a hard worker with a great sense of humour, and she was wonderful with our kids. Violetta went above and beyond for us, and in fact, on the day Irene went into labour, Patrick was home late from work, Violetta simply wasn’t going to leave Irene home alone. When Patrick finally got home, the whole family, including Violetta, drove to the hospital. Along the way, Violetta was so nervous about Irene possibly having the baby before we could drop her off at her place.
