IRENE VINCENT
We are saddened to announce the passing of our mom, Irene Vincent (nee Faucher) on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at the age of 95 years.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Shirley (Derek) Thomson, Ken (Rachelle), Ron (Alice), Larry (Diane), Gary (Marlene), Kim (Paul) Andre, and Karen; grandchildren, Kellea, Brittany, Chelsea, Maxine, Kevin, Vanessa, Alain, Chantal, Stephanie, Previne, Amy, Adam, James, Julie, Lisa, Meghan and Heather and 24 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Denise Gabbs, Edgar (Minni) Faucher, Adelard (Diane) Faucher, Rolande (Clarence) Levasseur, Claudette (Don) Cates, Yvette (Ken) Baskerville and Paulette Faucher.
Irene was predeceased by her parents Joe and Clara Faucher, her husband of 60 years, Raphael Vincent, grandsons, Colin and Michael, sisters, Rita and Annette, and her brother Fernand.
Irene led a full and active life, raising a family, in her and dad’s home of over 70 years. Mom loved to dance. She enjoyed teaching dance either in the basement or on the polished floor of the garage. She danced in many demos, parades, and in special events. She didn’t miss a monthly dance at RYAH till she was well into her 90s.
We would like to thank the Villa Youville Pavillon assisted living and Nursing for the wonderful care mom received over the last 18 months.
Cremation has taken place.
The Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach, MB.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
