JUDITH ELLEN FENTON

December 4, 1950 - May 23, 2024

Judy Fenton, age 73, of Steinbach, Manitoba, passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness with her husband Dennis at her side, on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Bethesda Regional Health Centre, Steinbach, MB.

She is survived by her beloved husband Dennis and their son Derek, daughter-in-law Erika and grandson Aidan.

She was predeceased by her parents, Archie and Allison Evans.

Judy grew up in the west end of Winnipeg and attended Tec Voc. She went to work after high school in various office jobs. While working as a secretary at Churchill High School she met her husband of over 40 years, Dennis. Judy embarked on a successful real estate career in the late 1980s, first with Delbro and later Remax. She won several Winnipeg Real Estate Board Bronze Medallions and a Silver.

Judy most enjoyed times at Lake of the Woods on the houseboat. These times were shared with many families and friends.

Cremation has taken place. There will not be a funeral service. Judy’s ashes will be scattered at an island on Lake of the Woods.

If friends so desire, donations in memory of Judy may be made to The Main Street Project in Winnipeg or to a charity of one’s choice.

Special thanks to the home care aides who made Judy’s last days as comfortable as possible and to the wonderful staff at Bethesda Emergency.
