It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Margaret Rose Lemke on May 12, 2024.
She is survived by her daughter Linda (Schmidt), sons, Dan (Val) and Eric, son-in-law Ken Ranick, five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband Eric, daughter Joan Ranick, son-in-law John Schmidt, sister Alice Curtis and parents, Enoch and Alice Tomlin. She was the last remaining person of her generation.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Golden Door Geriatric Centre for taking great care of our mother.
A celebration of Margaret's life will take place on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Joy Lutheran Church, 2-50 Barnes Street, Winnipeg, MB.
In lieu of flowers, if desired, a donation may be made to the charity of your choice.

We are very saddened to hear of Aunt Margaret's passing. She was a wonderful Aunt and we enjoyed visiting with her many times. Gary would also call her now and then and enjoyed chatting with her about life in general. Her mind was sharp as ever. Aunt Margaret lived a good, long life which her family can be grateful for. May wonderful memories of her sustain you all in your time of grief.
