It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Larry, at the age of 79. Larry will be remembered for his larger than life attitude and caring nature.
Larry was predeceased by his parents Oscar and Ragnheidur (Ranka), grandson Zachary, sister Valerie and sister-in-law Trudy.
Larry is survived by his loving wife Rhonda, of 57 years; children, Chad (Charlene), Dawn (Jeff); grandchildren, Kristjan and Erik (Delaney); brothers and sisters, David (Judy), Stephen, Dennis (Bernice) and Shelley (Ken), brother-in-law Lorman (Veronica), sister-in-law Sandra (Greig), plus many more extended family.
Special thanks to everyone at the Saul and Claribel Simkin Centre for their loving support over these past several months.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave.
