Lucille was predeceased by infant son, David on October 1, 1970; mother, Eugenie Bruce on September 10, 1992; father, Joseph Bruce on October 1, 1997; and granddaughter, Falin Johnston on June 26, 2023.
From Lucille, “In loving awareness thank you to my most wonderful children, Glen Johnston, Gary Johnston (Lorraine), Brenda Hachey (Art), Barbara Ruttig (Garth) and Darren Johnston; grandchildren, Suzanne Kohan (Mikey), Lindsay MacDonald (Ray), Andrew Cherrin, Alexis Bales (Zach), Angus Johnston, Shae-Lyne Johnston and Gavin Johnston and great grandchildren, Michael, Andrew, Lauren, Landon, and Liam. A very special thank you to Marianne Chucko and Sandrea Charette for your unfailing support. Thank you to my friends who crossed my path and left your loving impression upon my soul. Thank you one and all, I am with you Always.”
As per her wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. Refreshments to follow service.

I like to give condolences to anyone who was fortunate enough to have crossed paths with this wonderful mother. I was good friends with her son when we were teenagers. I moved out west only to lose contact with Darren. I only met her on a few occasions but from what I remember she was an amazing person.
