It is with great sadness that we inform you of the departure of Agnes Bernstein from Bethania Health Centre, into the realm of eternity, after an eventful sojourn on this earth.
She will be remembered by her brother Walfried Dirks, sister Evelyn (Henry) Konrad, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Agnes immigrated from Waldheim, Russia, now Ukraine, in 1925 to Manitoba, Canada. She was extremely talented in arts and crafts, creating many pieces of admiration. She enjoyed travelling and her flower garden, a wonder to behold, she truly had a green thumb. Agnes was a member of the Elmwood Mennonite Church where she worshipped faithfully.
Burial will take place on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, with a Memorial Service following at 2:00 p.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street, Winnipeg.
