I had the privilege of working for Mr. Brown in the 1990’s as an Account Manager at Business Furnishings. While he was reluctant to hire me at first due to my young age, with his guidance I was able to establish a career in the office furniture business, of which I am still involved in as a dealer principal. Mr. Brown taught me some valuable business and life lessons. For those I am very grateful. He was an amazing man. My condolences to his entire family. Gary taught me many important lessons early in my career. Most important was the deep commitment Gary showed to his employees and his clients. I am privileged to have been able to work with Gary. - Posted by: Ben Avery (Business Associate) on: Jun 08, 2024

Grew up with Gary in St Vital, he lived at 19 Rosewarne and believe he would have been celebrating his 86 Birthday June 9 when I would have given him a call. Had some great times when we were younger lost touch when his family moved to Brandon. Did hear he married the prettiest girl in St Vital Margret Mitchell. Touched base a few times as we got older but life moves to fast but he was very proud of his family. Our Sincere Condolences to all. Wish many times we could have taken more time to reconnect. May he RIP. Sincerely Tom Dan’s Evelyn Johnstone . - Posted by: Tom Johnstone (Friend) on: Jun 08, 2024
